    Description

    This is an enchanting antique brooch.  It dates to the late 1800s.  It is unmarked but has been tested and is made out of 14k solid gold.  The gold does show patina from age.  The brooch weighs a total of 17.59 grams.  It measures approximately 2 1/2" tall and approximately 1 1/2" across.  The beautiful natural amethyst measures 20mm tall and 15mm across.  I do not see any chips on the amethyst.   The brooch is detailed with crisscrossing lines, a gold tassel and luminous seed pearl flowers set on either side of the amethyst.  Please see photos above for condition.  The brooch looks stunning when worn.  Thank you for looking!
