Rare Vintage 20 Stamps 1920s-1940s ILES WALLIS et FUTUNA & NEW CALEDONIA

SCARCE ORIGINAL vintage souvenir sheet of stamps from Iles Wallis et Futuna and New Caledonia. The narrative talks about New Caledonia, including how "Less than a century ago, the natives were ferocious cannibals...". While interesting for it's historical value, this will probably most interest stamp collectors. I'm not a collector, so can't give you authorized condition descriptions. I can tell you that most of these stamps appear to be in great condition - especially for the vintage! Depending upon where I checked on the internet for info, these stamps are from the 1920s to the early 1940s. Seven of these are called overprints, due to the "ILES WALLIS ET FUTUNA" printed upon the stamps. Only 3 have frank marks. The .80 stamp in the 2nd row is complete; the right side is slightly rolled under, and I don't want to mess it up by trying to flatten it. That's better left to the collector who becomes the next owner. From the collection of a WWII veteran, this sheet was obtained during his deployment overseas.
